1. Overview

This website is operated by Thor Ebikes. Throughout the site, the words “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Thor Ebikes. We offer this website, including its information, tools, products and services, to you on the condition that you accept these Terms and Conditions

By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you engage in our service and agree to be bound by these terms. These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, vendors, merchants and contributors of content.

2. Online store terms

  • You must be at least the age of majority in your state or territory, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to use this website or place an order.
  • You must not use this website or our products for any illegal, unsafe, misleading or unauthorised purpose.
  • You must not transmit viruses, malware, spam, scraping tools or anything that may damage or interfere with our website, checkout, apps or systems.
  • We may suspend, restrict or refuse access to the service if these terms are breached.

3. Products, descriptions and availability

We try to display our products, images, colours, prices, specifications, availability and descriptions as accurately as possible. Small differences may occur due to screen settings, supplier updates, photography, product variations or minor manufacturing changes.

Products may be limited in quantity and may be changed, discontinued or removed from sale without notice. We may correct errors, update product information or cancel an order if pricing, availability, shipping or product information is incorrect.

4. Orders, billing and account information

  • You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, contact, billing and delivery information.
  • You are responsible for checking your order details before submitting payment.
  • We may refuse, limit, cancel or hold an order where we suspect fraud, resale abuse, payment issues, stock issues, incorrect details or misuse of promotions.
  • If we change or cancel an order, we may attempt to contact you using the email, phone number, billing address or shipping address provided at checkout.

5. Shipping, delivery and risk

Shipping times, delivery estimates, tracking updates and stock dispatch times are estimates only unless clearly stated otherwise. Delays may occur due to supplier handling, courier delays, high demand, public holidays, incorrect delivery details, regional delivery routes or events outside our control.

You are responsible for providing a safe and correct delivery address. For more detail, please read our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns, refunds and warranty

Returns, refunds, exchanges, repairs, damaged item claims and change of mind requests are handled under our store policies and Australian Consumer Law.

Please review our Refund Policy and Warranty Policy before purchasing. A manufacturer or store warranty is separate from your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

7. E-Bike use, safety and legal compliance

Electric bikes, batteries, chargers and related parts must be used responsibly and in line with all applicable road rules, local laws, safety instructions, product manuals and manufacturer guidance.

Some products, performance settings, throttle modes, speed settings, motor ratings or off road features may not be legal for use on public roads, shared paths, footpaths or road-related areas in every Australian state or territory. You are responsible for checking whether a product and its settings are suitable and legal for your intended use before riding.

Do not modify batteries, chargers, controllers, speed limiters, motors, brakes, wiring, frames or safety critical parts unless the work is approved by us or performed by an appropriately qualified person. Unsafe modifications may void your warranty and may create serious safety risks.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is used only in modes and settings that are legal for the riding location. Thor Ebikes does not represent that private property, off road, unlocked or high-power settings are legal for use on public roads, shared paths, footpaths or road-related areas.

8. Prohibited uses

  • Using the site or products for unlawful, unsafe, abusive, fraudulent or misleading activity.
  • Uploading malware, viruses, spam, scraping tools or destructive code.
  • Trying to interfere with checkout, security, accounts, apps, reviews, promotions or website functionality.
  • Infringing our intellectual property rights or the rights of another person or business.
  • Submitting false order information, false reviews, abusive content or misleading claims.

9. Reviews, feedback and user content

If you submit reviews, photos, videos, comments, feedback, social media tags or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to share that content and that it does not breach another person’s rights.

Unless agreed otherwise, you allow Thor Ebikes to use, display, edit, publish, share and repost that content for customer support, website, advertising, review and promotional purposes. We may remove content that we consider unlawful, abusive, misleading, offensive, spam or inconsistent with these terms.

10. Third party tools and links

Our store may use or link to third party services, apps, payment providers, delivery services, analytics tools, advertising platforms, social media platforms or external websites. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, availability, security or actions.

Your submission of personal information through our store is governed by our Privacy Policy. This includes information used to process orders, payments, shipping, customer accounts, support requests, marketing, analytics and fraud prevention.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We do not guarantee that our website will be uninterrupted, error free, secure or always available. We may update, suspend, change or discontinue any part of the website or service at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thor Ebikes is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar losses arising from your use of the website, products, services, third party tools or information on the store.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or protection that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
